Chapter Winter Party (Livonia)

Annual Chapter Winter Party - Saturday, February 21, 2026 @ 6 PM.

Join us for our chapter's annual Winter Party at American Legion Post 32, Livonia.  This has always been a fun event, so please save the date and plan to attend!

This year's theme is "Chapter #5057's 40th Anniversary" and we'll have a red and white color theme.

$25 per person, plus cash bar for adult beverages (we cannot bring our own to the American Legion Post).

Each attendee will also receive two drink coupons to be redeemed at the bar for two soft drinks. (Approximate value $2 each.)  Water, tea, and coffee will be served at the table (included with the meal).

  • Games
  • White Elephant Gift Exchange (those who want to participate must each bring a wrapped gift, usually inexpensive - less than $25 in value, silly, or quirky)
    • - Gifts are placed in a central pile. Players draw numbers to determine order.
      - On your turn, you can either: - Open a new gift from the pile, or - Steal a gift someone else has already opened.
      - If your gift is stolen, you pick another unopened one or steal from someone else.
      - The game ends when everyone has a gift. Often, the first player gets a final chance to swap.
  • Raffles with prizes
  • Final 2025 mileage awards
  • Photo contest winners
  • Projected slide show of member's photos from 2025 chapter events and activities
  • We’ll have background music mixed especially for our chapter—our own soundtrack for the night.

Buffet dinner includes:

  • Salad with ranch and Italian dressings
  • Three meats:  roast beef, baked chicken, and sauerkraut with kielbasa
  • Pasta:  mostaccioli with meat sauce
  • Vegetables:  green beans and mashed potatoes
  • Dessert:  sheet cake
  • Rolls and butter
  • Coffee, tea, and water

The hall will be set up with round tables of eight, each with linen tablecloths and napkins.
