“BVA Honors the Ann Arbor VIST Group”
THIS EVENT AND RIDE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Only current HOG chapter members and one guest per member may participate.

We’ll meet at the dealership on Thursday, August 7th at 9:45 AM for a pre-ride safety meeting and then KSU @ 10 AM.

Destination is the second outdoor pavilion at Island Park (1461 Island Drive, Ann Arbor, MI). This is about 27 miles, 32 minutes per the fastest route from Google Maps.
Island Park in Ann Arbor is a scenic and historic 5.6-acre riverside park located at 1420–1461 Island Drive, nestled along the Huron River. Island Park Shelter B highlights:
- Covered pavilion with picnic tables and nearby grills
- Easy access to walking paths, playground, and restrooms (seasonal)
- Scenic river views and shade from mature trees
- Parking nearby along Island Drive
The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) is headquartered in Washington DC and its mission is to serve as ambassadors and mentors for all veterans and their families coping with sight loss.

The Ann Arbor Visual Impairment Services Team (VIST) healthcare professionals work to assist Veterans whose vision loss impacts their activities of daily living and helps the Veterans, and their families cope with the functional and emotional issues associated with vision loss.
